Public transport
It is easy to use public transport in Sofia, as if you cannot buy a ticket, you can use debit or credit card in all types of transport instead. Two types of tickets are available 30+ minutes with possible changes for 0,80 euro and 60+ minutes with possible changes for 1,1 euro. One day pass for all types of transport costs 2 euro. Each time you enter new type of transport you have to validate the ticket, pass or bank card. The control staff that may check you also in the same way.
TRAVEL FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE SOFIA CITY CENTER
Sofia Airport Metro Station is in close proximity to the airport terminal building. To reach it, follow the blue line on the floor in the public area of Terminal 2.

M4 line (yellow) provides a transport connection to the city centre and to the large residential complexes in the immediate vicinity – Druzhba and Mladost, as well as to the more distant ones in the western direction – zh.k. “Zapaden Park” and “Lyulin”.
M4 connects with M3 (green) at the Orlov Most/Sofia University Metro Station and with M2 (blue) at Serdika Metro Station.
The closest to the ITM2026 venue and Hotel Astoria is the Medical University Metro Station on M3. Then a 5-10-minute walk along Blvd Pencho Slaveikov leads you to the venue.
The Bus line 84 connects the Airport with the city centre. To reach the venue you can change at bus stop Pliska to Bus line 604 and reach the final stop Pirogov. The venue is very close.
